By default, Adult and X-Rated categories are filtered out, but you can enable them by selecting the filter limit of your choice in the dropdown box above. Mature sites are visible by default but you can filter them out for Family viewing.

Here's what the various filter limits mean: -

Family: (Mature, Adult & X-Rated sites are all filtered out)
Sites generally suitable for everybody, including children.

.MATURE. (Adult & X-Rated sites are filtered out)
Some sites may have vulgar or profane language.
Generally suitable only for those aged 12 and above. (default setting)

.ADULT. (X-Rated sites are filtered out)
Some sites may have violent or overtly sexual themes.
Generally suitable only for those aged 15 and above.

.X-RATED. (No sites are filtered out at all)
Some sites may have scenes of graphic violence or explicit sexual images.
Generally suitable only for those aged 18 and above.
